- 30th June- 1st July- Topsham Food Festival and Nello’s Longest Table
University of Exeter students could also enjoy something a little different at the Topsham Food Festival and Nello’s Longest Table. A "Fire and Spice” food festival will comprise a farmers' market of artisan producers, street food stands, chef demos, and live music. Nello’s Longest Table will once again with some 350 tables will stretch edge-to-edge the length of Topsham Fore Street, around Topsham Quay, and down Ferry Road, past the Underway to the Passage Inn.
For those who haven’t yet experienced the magic of Nello’s Longest Table, it is such a simple and wonderful community happening. Tables are ‘purchased’ and everyone brings your own feasts of local and locally sourced food and drink, as well as your own chairs. Some might choose to follow the ‘fire and spice’ theme in choice of food, or perhaps fancy dress. Proceeds from the weekend go to projects in our local community, promoting Topsham food and drink, and to Force cancer charity.
